We just launched Good Future AI at the Festival of Education - Free to use, Free forever, Maximum data privacy Last week was pretty exceptional overall, but wrapping up at the Festival of Education with such wonderful colleagues was the icing on the cake. Mimansha Gupta, Jim Knight, Bukky Yusuf, Laura Knight ✨, Xiu Ting F., Andy Kemp, John Jones, Ali Gellett FRSA, Camilla Cornwell and Ana Romero brought wisdom, expertise and energy to the Good Future Foundation marquee throughout the event. We captured sessions with these folks on everything from Ethics to Strategy and Productivity as far as responsible AI use in schools is concerned. In addition, our exceptional Student Council members, A. Kemp and Emily Baker did an awesome job of participating in sessions and welcoming visitors. Student voice remains crucial to our work and their contributions were vital. And then there’s the launch of Good Future AI, a platform that allows teachers to get started with using GenAI for specific tasks. We’ve prioritised the Department for Education product safety expectations above all else, so data privacy and ease of use are right at the heart of this totally free to use - free forever tool! On top of all that, Sabrina Lawson joined us for the launch of our online teacher community platform for sharing resources, experiences and advice - we will have more on that soon! Anneliese Smith also joined us for her first GFF event as our Quality Mark specialist and Joel Carr captured the whole thing so that we can share more content soon. None of this would have happened without the amazing Esther Cheng, who spearheaded the day. Also massive thanks to Victoria Merrick, Alice Whitby, Mariia Kuzavskaia, Joseph Lin, Thomas Sparrow, Xinman Liu, Jack Austin and everyone involved in making this event such a huge success. If any of the above sounds like it might have appeal, please get in touch to learn more!

In addition to our exciting lineup of speakers at the Good Future Foundation booth on Chapel Green, our Advisory Council member Bukky Yusuf and Executive Director Daniel Emmerson will also be presenting at Venue 1 in Zone C tomorrow at 4pm. They'll explore how technology can bridge rather than widen educational gaps. Bukky brings her extensive experience as an edtech professional supporting SEND students, and together with Daniel, will share practical examples of schools successfully implementing AI to promote equity and enhance learning for all students.

We were also delighted to have Allison Gardner, MP for Stoke-On-Trent South, join us at the event, highlighting the significance of this work in the local area. Our heartfelt thanks to George Barlow and Ricky Bridge from BELGRAVE ST. BARTHOLOMEW'S ACADEMY for their generous hospitality! Their incredible support and contributions were key to making this event such a wonderful success! Stay tuned for more event highlights, which will soon be available through our podcast produced by Simon Jones and video coverage by Joel Carr. Next week, we'll be heading to Rochdale for another in-person professional development day. We can't wait to team up with Dina Foster and David Turnbull from Educate Ventures Research again for some engaging and meaningful discussions with the educators at Watergrove Trust! #professionaldevelopment #cpd #aiineducation
